1965 Porsche 912 Flachbrau Tribute

Titled as a 1965 Porsche 912, this example has obviously had an extensive and complete makeover to represent the magnificent flachbraus of the 1980’s.

This is a truly unique Porsche 911 Flachbau Tribute in excellent condition.

There are less than 100 miles on it since the build.

During the build the car was totally rewired, doors from a 1986 Porsche 911 with power windows and power mirrors were mounted, 1989 suspension and brakes with larger rotors were installed along with, headers, new rubber coated floor, fog lights, Bilstein shocks, Momo steering wheel, 911 dash and gauges, and pop out rear side windows.

All steel panels were used.

The body was under coated, has solid rocker panels, a new horn, new carpet, and a tan interior from a 1980’s Porsche.

At a cost of $12,500 plus core engine, a totally re-built 3.0 FI motor (less than 100 mi) was secured from Planet 911 in Edmund, OK.

A $9,500 paint job in Anthracite as been done that included a total stripping of the body.

There are no rust issues with the car.

The car has new wheels/tires and floor mats also.

For a car that left the factory over 50 years ago, it is in outstanding condition. It drives like a mid 80’s Porsche 911 should, it looks beautiful and the owner knows of no significant issues with either the appearance or the mechanical of the car.

You could not even come close to building this car for the reserve price of $30,000.

VIN 450619, Clean Oklahoma title.
