This 1987 Volkswagen Doka was imported from Poland by the seller in late 2017 and is equipped with a 1.6L inline-four diesel powering the rear wheels via a four-speed manual. No mechanical modifications from stock are noted, and the truck is fitted with aftermarket alloy wheels wearing new Vredstein tires and an aftermarket radio.
The engine has been recently serviced and had its timing belt replaced. The body was repainted a few years ago, and a custom wood-lined bed has been stained and sealed. This Doka is now sold by a dealer in Georgia with a clean Georgia title.
An exterior repaint was conducted a few years ago prior to import to the US. Tinted rear tail lights are equipped, and the seller notes that the lights work. Stock T3 brakes consist of front discs and rear drums, and the seller notes that the system works well.
The custom wood bed was stained and sealed, and a custom bed cover tarp is included. Aftermarket alloy wheels are mounted with new Vredstein tires. All Dokas have a treasure chest under the bed, plus three drop sides for the rear bed.
100k kilometers (~62k miles) are shown on the odometer, with about 500 kilometers added by the seller over the past nine months. An aftermarket radio is fitted, but the installation is not complete.
Note the unusual passenger seat with dual headrests. A three-across rear bench is provided in the rear. Both front step-down doglegs are shown with the rubber flooring removed in the gallery below.
Power comes from a 1.6-liter naturally-aspirated diesel inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. The engine bay can be accessed through a custom latch over the stock cover, or by holding up the rear panel between the tail lights as shown above.
